Helped my 4th grade daughter with her fraction homework

I hate those questions...
My brother is in 4th grade and I hate how the teacher many times has her own interpretations of the question and doesn't accept my brother's answer I helped him with even t hough it makes sense. I think some teachers fear more of being proven wrong rather than actually apologizing.

Yeah, there are plenty of teachers like that. Some teachers want it there way, and there way only. Even if the other is better, faster, or more accurate, teachers can be extremely anal.
Honestly, whats the difference? If you get the SAME ANSWER, and its more comfortable for the student to learn, I don't see why a teacher should be whiny about it.
