I know this goes in the technical support forum and its posted there too, but I know more people read this forum and I need some help as soon as possible, so forgive me!

I rebuilt my computer this summer and in the first 3 months I went through 3 power supplies. I made the mistake of buying my case/power supply from Comp USA to save on shipping. Things have been fine for the past few months, but starting yesterday it starting freezing up on me about every 5 minutes. Then it got to the point where when I would restart, it would freeze up before loading my desktop. Then I got fed up, went to bed, tried turning it on this morning and nothing happened. Finally it turned on, but wouldn't boot or even make it to POST. Just sat there. I thought maybe my C drive was messed up, but I disconnected it, and it still the same thing. I tried opening my CDROM but it wouldn't even open. In the past when I would restart it for some reason it would sometimes halfway boot up and then restart. I dont' know if this is a motherboard problem or power supply or what. I have a 750 Athlon, KA7-100 ABIT motherboard, stupid comp usa power supply, and I think 192 megs of RAM. If you can help me, please do, because I have finals next week and about a gozillion projects and tests that I need my computer for this week. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!

I do not know the KA7, or why you might have problems with this 0.18 slot processor from a wattage point of view. how many watts is your psu rated for? reminds me of overclocking problems.

do your fans turn, lights go on, when you switch it on? have you tried clearing CMOS? rechecking your connections everywhere?

Yea, fans are on, lights are on...not the keyboard, but the "busy" light next to the powerlight on on, and the CD ROM light flashes very fast for a couple of seconds then goes off. Yea, I've rechecked connections and all that good stuff...not exactly sure how to clear CMOS though..
