Ahhh....my family's ISP is AOL, I've been using FreeISP's though...there used to be SO MANY and now there are next to none. Free ones aren't much better than AOL, so I'd just as soon not use them, but I can't post here from AOL, cause it's blocked! And one of the last ones left, Onfree, is going to a pay service...AHH what am I to do? Mods, why is AOL blocked?

Uh, get a job, and pay for your own service maybe?

Russ, I have a job, I'm a DJ, I make $20 an hour, not bad for a 16 year old :) But still, I have to pay for equipment and all that, I can't really afford it, and it would be a waste to have to get another pay service when we already have one....and my parents refuse to give up AOL so that's not an option.

Get the AT@T 150 hour a month $4.95 plan to use at the forums. If you can't squeeze out five bucks a month, you are seriously in need of a money management seminar.

F*ck dial-up all together, if you have cable or dsl available, it probably doesn't cost more than $40 a month. Just set aside $40 a month.

I could....parents probably wouldn't let me :) They can be dumb like that...anyway, why is AOL blocked anyway?

Juno is $8.95 a month(when they show their special price).

You can get the "bring your own access" plan for AOL which lowers the price $9.95 a month.

If Juno is reliable in your area, it's a little cheaper to go that way.

Deeko, AOL is blocked because they would do nothing to help block the trolls from creating new screen names and trolling the forums.

It wasn't blocked for like a month, I didn't see a flood of trolls then :) And I'm not just talking email address, just the AOL IP address. I'm registered under an altavista email address, but I can't post from AOL. That doesn't make sense....

Because they are redundant.
