I have Java enabled in my browser but it doesn't show up if I go to a site with it ... what's the problem here?

are you using netscape, what version is it?

check other sites, it might be that the java in that particular page has an error in it.

The only thing I can offer is that I ran into a similar problem a while back with an older version of IE. Every page I went to with Java would stop loading and usually come up with an error message. I tried to get to Microsoft's website to update IE, but guess what? Almost every friggin page had something the browser objected to! SO I switched over to Netscape for a while, and I believe I wound up reloading IE.
