Operating System: No Operating System - I will install my own

The question is, is it worth getting the Q9550 for £46 more, or stick with the Q9400
Q9550 has
L2 Cache: 12MB & Core Frequency:4 x 2.83GHz
as oppose to the
Q9400's
L2 Cache: 6MB & Core Frequency: 4 x 2.66GHz
Price isnt that much of an issue but id not like to pay more for something thats of the same standard, the rest of the components are irrelevant i put them there to show what else it'd be running with so please no comments like "that graphics card ur getting is pretty tight" as ive recieved on a different forum as they are negliable answers to what im asking for
