When starting my 98se machine I get to the start of loading windows and the screen goes blank with the message " It is now safe to turn off your computer" " Press Ctrl, Alt, Delete, to restart ". It will boot fine in safe mode. This was just all of a sudden during a normal resart. When I put the drive into another computer (XP) to copy files off, like I normally do, explorer says that the drive is unformatted. Any Idea's?

Boot into safe mode and check for viruses.
