sry if this is a esasy question that everyone know and that i am a idoit but what is the diffrence between pci-e and agp ports? pci-e is better right?

PCIe is better just not widely as available @ this time and the difference between PCIe and AGP is similar to the difference between PATA and SATA. One is the successor and the other the predecessor. Specifically PCIe is faster (more bandwidth), can send data both ways, and has the capability to support SLI mode.

PCIe x16 is better, spec-wise [edited: stupidity] (and will, in time, become the standard for graphics cards), but graphics cards (aside from SLI-ing) won't need it for a while, as current cards really don't fully saturate even AGP 4x.

oh... ty but i have a new question. we all now amd 64 is better than amd xp right? but y? its mroe expensivre to buy a amd 64 1.8ghz than a xp 1.8 ghz. anything i am missing?

Just kidding man - just research a little rather than asking questions that can be answered very easily by reading up on it for five minutes.

I am serious though. Whenever I have a computer problem that I don't know the answer to I simply search google. Most of the time I will find the answer in a matter of seconds
