Hello im building my computer and i cant line up the stand offs with the motherboards mounting holes. my case is ATX and so is my motherboard. The standoffs are in the right position but as i line up the I/O shield with the mobos back the standoffs are off by just a little bit. enough so i cant screw in the thumbscrews. im freaking out now and ive been trying for an hour on this. Im a first time building and my specs are MSI K8n neo2 platnium for 939 and thermaltake Tsunami dream tower. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I don't know if I can help but heres some tips. Make sure none of the grounds on the I/O shield are sticking into the I/Os. On my Neo Plat I had the ground for the firewire sticking into it which screwed up the placement a bit. Also if it's just a tiny amount try putting some pressure on the side of the motherboard and make it line up (only if it's got some springy give to it). That's all the advice I'm good for.

take the little panel off the case that displays what the ports are like USB and the keyboard ports. then see if it fits then
