I just installed my athlon 2000xp but its readin as 1250mhz and 200fsb it should be 1.67ghz and 266 fsb i think.

I got a warning message sayin "processor had changed, alter settings in CMOS setup" or somthin to that effect.

What do i do ?

Set the FSB back to 266mhz...

I'll have to check with some rocket scientists to be certain though.
 
Thanks it worked. Whats the Athlon XP 2000+ Thorton capable of OCing to? And what settings do i alter to overclock it, and what is a stable setting that won't set my pc on fire?
