HELP!!!!!!!!!

I just got my new Antec True430 in the mail today. So I go to put it in my computer and I can't even get my computer to power up I'm running an Abit NF7-S V2.0 It worked fine with my old power supply and now it won't even boot. The red light is on, on the motherboard signaling it's got power. I don't know what's wrong. Someone help?!!?!?!

Check to make sure the 115/220 switch is set correctly. Also make sure your CMOS jumper is on the correct pins. Then post back if you are still having issues.

Well what I did was start from scratch I took everything out and reseated the motherboard and then I started with just a video card and ram and it booted! So I've put everything back in and it's booted up ever since. The only thing I haven't put in is my Floppy drive I don't use it really anyways so I'm not sure if that was the culprit or not. What do you think went wrong?

I'm shocked that folks still use floppys. I have a few usb drives that perform that function and even bios updates no longer require the floppy. Just a thought.

Some of us wound up with USB drives that don't include boot support from the manufacturer, making them, well, unbootable. That, and I thought I read somewhere that you're not supposed to use a USB keychain drive as a BIOS flasher, as the USB port may be disabled during the flash, leaving you with a half-programmed BIOS. Though if it'd load the ROM/BIN image into a RAMdrive, that might work. I know there are very small DOS-based RAMdrive utilities available online.

Geez, it sounds like those old floppies still have their good points? Seriously, a floppy is standard on every machine I sell - you never know when you may need to boot from it to run Ghost or diagnose a problem.

I am not certain, but it also sounds like this could have been a grounding issue :/ On more than one occasion I have been known to screw up contacts and have it not boot.. A full take out and put back in fixes it usually

Well I did my last BIOS flash from the harddrive with no problems. My recent mobo is the first I could actually get to use as a boot-from-cd device, so I am hoping I never have to touch a floppy again in my life.
