help!! xp doesnt load after restore w ghost

i hope someone can hele me.....I wanna to change a new hd for my pc.So i tried to back up win xp and win2k to cd. i can success to restore those 2 images (winxp and win2k) in my new hd.The win2k works fine but thw winxp freeze when loading at the blue windowsxp logo screen. i tried to save the images to another empty HD but still got the same result.🙁 is there anyone the solution? thx.
 
I'm thinking it might have something to do with activation since you changed your hardware and Win2k works fine.

Try booting to the Recovery Console for the Windows XP install and rename the files \%systemroot%\system32\wpa.dbl and \%systemroot%\system32\wpa.bak to wpa.dbl.old and wpa.bak.old.
