Help x1900 xt artifacting in Dungeon Siege 2!

My card is not overheating and I don't oc and I'm getting some major artifact here and there during some intense scenes at 1600x1200 4xAA 16x HQ af, this only seems to happen to dungeon siege 2. But CS:S and Halo runs fine. Any ideas?

What temp is the card at when it starts artifacting? Have you verified that the fan is operational?

edit: If it only happens with specific games, I wonder if there is an incompatibility between the game and your drivers. Are those up to date?

I already said it isn't a temperature problem because I play with the fan 92% on and it stays at round 76c, and yes my game is up to date.
