Help withSamsung email

Trying to fix email on someones galaxy. While on wifi can send regular mail fine. Attempting to send one with an attachement though cause email to hang constantly showing the circle working symbol but it never sends. If I add a regular email to sent after trying the attachment one they will also get stuck n the outbox. Going to wireless data will then clear the outbox.

Any ideas how to fix it so they send under wifi?

It's not rooted and firewalled is it? Could the mail be blocked under wifi?

managed to fix it. seems on a recent update changed the email settings turning ssl off so only basic emails were still going through, ones with attachments would get blocked. turned ssl back on and everything got sent fine.
