I finally got XP installed. Pretty painless. The only thing that was slightly odd is that I had to install the Win2K V5 drivers twice, the first time I got a few errors. Second time did it though.
The only problem I seem to be running into now is setting up my home network. The other PC is running Win98SE. I have run the network setup on the 98 PC from the XP CD as requested, that seemed to go fine. It "seems" to complete fine on mine as well, but no matter what I do, I cannot see the other PC (the 98 machine) on mine (the XP machine). I get a brief bubble pop-up that lasts for a sec on my taskbar (XP machine) that says it can't resolve an address or something like that, then goes away really quick. I know the network card is working fine as I am on the net and the DSL modem is hooked up through the hub (both machines have that type of internet connectivity selected during the setup). Any ideas? Help?
