I've been looking all over the internet is some very high quality Xenon lights for my 1996 BMW Z3. I've seen a lot of lights, but weren't sure if they would be good for my car since I have no experience with them. Also, I see a lot of sites that show Xenon light kits for 97 - 00 Z3's, and not 96's. Anyone have any links or know what would fit? Thanks a lot

Try a BMW forum - everyone here will just start screaming, "Make sure you get an actual Xenon light kit, and not some damn blue lights!!!!!!! Wah wah wah!"

haven't had the chance to yet, no. Might head up to an Autozone. Also, what's the difference between Xenon and H.I.D ?

Same thing. Autozone won't have what you need. Autozone has these. You want something like this.

The second option is much more expensive, but apparently it's well worth it.

Be prepared to pay around $1,500 to $2,000 after installation.

Most Bimmer people goto HIDS4Less for Xenon retrofits.

EDIT: BTW, they are in Pawtucket, Rhode Island near the Massachuestts border. Quick hop from NYC.

So are conversion Kits for general use in any cars? or are there certain packages for certain cars. I don't want to spend $800+ on the wrong thing. Link por favor? =)
