I forgot. I have the Neo2-F, not the platinum. and I went to MSI's weird website and found the most current update for the mobo, and that didn't help either...So I'm stizzumped.

Have you installed the AMD May 2005 X2 drivers for XP? You can find them on AMDs site.

Umm wtf. Xp Home does support Dual cores, from what I remember. I even remember dual priming it with xp home. Was using service pack one also.

Yeah I did that. Looks like WoW is working a lil better. urrgg. Anyone know why I wouldn't be able to set the affinity for WoW?

Does anybody know where I would find a program or what program it would be, that allows me to set the affinity of programs? like force the affinity onto World of Warcraft?

Or how I can override warcraft into letting me change the affinity?

Thank You

Did you get the microsoft hotfix yet? It seems to have fixed the problems for the people that were still having them, even with the X2 driver.

so.. home + dual core? 😀

i tried 64-bit windows, it actually 'felt' a little bit faster, but there were a couple annoying things so i went back to 32-bit

It is getting ridiculous that you are able to continue to post..

Exactly. Also you could say it is rediculous that a multi-billion dollar comany can't rlease a decent software package without needing daily patches ! There is NO problem with the processor, just the OS and the user installing it.

So fatty, you are saying that you have a problem with your installation skills.

Ah, yes, the Intelia twin lives. Everyone remember, fatty also stated that his 1.8 PIV Willamette could encode faster than the AMD64. Yes, you read that correctly. He is a troll.

Troll, on a roll, eating too much desert, oh my troll, my lovely troll, how your warts of silicon lies move me. DOOODAAHHHH DOOOOODAAAAAHHHHHH. Oh, Troll on a roll, how your squishy trolling amuses me like no other. DOOODAH.

 Dang, I need to rethink my lyrical style. Excuse while I take a sip and think some more
