Help with wireless setup.....

Hey guys, I need help badly. I tried calling my wireless network card's tech. support but their system is like on a loop and no one answers. Here's the deal:

I have a Linksys wireless G broadband router connected to my main computer. I have another computer in the other room with a Belkin wireless G desktop card trying to access the router. On that computer with the card, everything is installed and it finds my wireless linksys router. It says that the network conditions are excellent and seems to be on, but there is no IP address and I can't connect to the internet. I have a WPA security encryption on the Linksys router and I've tried setting it up on the Belkin, but it still doesn't work. I'm a freakin moron when it comes to this wireless stuff, so if anyone has any steps I can take to resolve this problem it would be much appreciated.

Check your router settings and see what it's being used as (access point or router). You may want to use access point, I know I had the same troubles when I first set up my wireless network, as I already had a router, and the wireless DHCP was interfering with it.
