help with wireless card

i am looking into getting a NETGEAR 802.11g Wireless LAN PCMCIA(CardBus) Card, Model WG511T. i am running on a dell inspiron laptop. its a 3 years old about. is it just plug and play? or do i have to check if i could put it in? thanks for your help.

I am pretty sure every inspiron from 3 years ago till now has a cardbus slot. Good to go.

Just got that card today, make sure you download the latest drivers from Netgear as the old drivers have issues with WinXP SP2.
