Help with Windows 8.1 Invisible Print Queue

Okay apparently I hit print a document to printer instead of my default setting which is to PDF. I don't know how I did that since it would take several keystrokes and changing my settings...but anyway I plugged in my printer and it starts printing a huge document.

What's worse is that there isn't a print queue. Only there is one because when I turn the printer back on after restarting the computer, it starts printing again.

I followed the instructions to find the print queue per Microsoft...and not surprisingly their instructions are wrong.

So I'm asking here. How do I cancel a document when there isn't a print queue? I actually managed to find it...and it's empty.

I've attached a screenshot showing all icons and notifications...you'll notice there isn't one for the printer...and a second screenshot showing the print queue.

Notice the queue is empty...but the printer still tries to print the same document over and over.

Tried switching printers, turning everything off...but Windows still wants to print.

Help!

I'm trying to print some travel docs so its kind of urgent.

Thanks!
