Help with Windows 2000 Server Permissions

I am running a W2K Server with Windows 98 clients. Is there a way to set up permissions so that a user cannot delete folders or files, but still be able to change the name of files.

If I remove the delete permission for users from the permission settings, users can only create new folders with the name New Folder and cannot save files from programs to any of the directories.

Please Help

In W2K there's a *Share* permission called "Change". I think that will do what you want.

If the drive is formatted NTFS, then there are also NTFS permissions "Modify" is the matching one. (Try to do one or the other, unless you have to.)
