Help with winamp.

I cannot get winamp to open regular audio cd's. What is the file extension of an audio cd? I have gone through the File Types options and associated winamp to anything remotely familiar with audio files.

I think CD tracks end with .cda. Under the "file Types" box where you select all the types, there is a check-off box that says "Associate with Audio CDs". Make sure that is checked so CD tracks will play with Winamp. It may or may not be different if your using Winamp 3.0, because Im using 2.80.

there is a button on winamp that will open a window to chose what to load,it is on the left side of the shuffle button. click that and direct it to the CD drive with the audio disk in it and see if it will play then.
