Oh what a pain.
here is the story. win2k was having a problem with IE. Was surfing the web and the browser kept crashing. Shut the system down and halfway durring the shutdown the system reset instead. I then had all three of my cdroms not accesible and were code 19. Followed the trouble shooter and rebooted. No dice. Useing the boot disks I did a repair using the automatic setting. Now I have all three CDs code 31. Cant get any thing. Tried uninstalling and letting the system install them. Still code 31. This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31. WTF? I even unistalled the IDE controler to try that. Still no dice.
Any solutions would be welcome. Also the system works fine except for the CD's
