my plextor drive doesnt work correctly when in win2k. i have a few symptoms:
DAE sucks... its choppy and has all sorts of blips in it. my ide drive still rips songs just fine though under teh same program (audiocatalyst)
cdrw disks cant be read in their entirety. the entire cd is accessable and working fine in win98, but in win2k some of the files/ directories cannot be accessed. i get some error message referencing me to get a new driver or something.
i just put the latest bios on my p3b-f mobo and tekram 390u2w scsi card, i wonder if that has anyhting to do with it. i tried the new tekram driver, but last time i installed it, it screwed up my win2k install... wouldn't boot correctly.
i just put an image of win98 back on and the cdrw disk works great.... i dont get it. any ifo you guys can give me on this problem?
