Ok I have the following motherboard: ECS K7VTA3 v1
with the following chipset: VIA VT8377 Apollo KT400
and processor: AMD Athlon XP 2200+
The problem that I having is that I experience a 1 minute "lag" after windows loads. The computer kind of freezes right after booting windows. However, I can open most programs and browse my hd. I cannot open such programs as sisoftware sandra and cpu-z. Neither can I open any network connections in order to dial into my dsl connection. I did not have the motherboard driver cd, so I downloaded some drivers from VIA and ECS. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is it the drivers? Can someone point me to the correct drivers?
