Help with whether mobo is bad or not

Hi,
Any help is appreciated. I have abit nf7-s v2.0 w/ axp-m 2400+, kingston pc3500, pci video card, hdd in antec case. Everything was working before. I took out everything to use the case to test another board. Now putting everything back in and it won't post. I took the cpu and tested in another system and everything work fine. The red led is on when I plug in the power. When i push the power button, the fans would start up then shut down immediately. Does this mean my mobo is bad? How can I tell?

Take it out and do a test on phone book or other non conductive surface. Just the cpu/heatsink, one stick of memory, and video. It should post.
