hey guys i recently purchased one of these cards

well i've been trying to install the card but for some reason whenever i try to run anything that requires 3d acceleration (E.g. games, 3dmark2001...etc) my computer reboots and i get the following error:

"The driver for the display device was unable to complete the drawing operation. Please check with the device manfac. for a driver update"

"Error Signature
szAppName : Drivers.Display szAppVer : 10DE0201A300301545
szModName : nv4_disp.dll szModVer : 5.13.1.2183 Offset : FDF606EA"

I've uninstalled driver sets and reinstalled different sets numerous amounts of times and still i get the same.
I even get a reboot when trying to run DXDIAG.EXE
oddly enough the 2d works...

i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas...

I have the following system
P3-800EB
512MB Crucial RAM
ASUS CUSL-2 mobo Revision 1009
IBM 7200 RPM Harddrive
Liteon 12x CDR
Toshiba DVD Drive
300W Powersupply (I'm wondering if this could be the problem...and maybe my GF3 is not getting enough juice)
Windows XP
SB Audigy

though i dont know what the problem is, i would hazard to say its not the powersupply (unless maybe its an unsually crappy generic one). You dont appear to have so many devices installed that 300W is insuffiecent. Also, i dont htink the gf3's are particular power hogs (15nm design and all).

thanks for the input zen...for some reason my directx 8.1 was crapped out...and so i downloaded and reinstalled and everything works fine now
