Help With Visioneer 8xxx Scanners =p

Does anyone have a Visioneer 8xxx scanner?
I have both the 8700 and the 8100 models.

My question is:

How do you configure the scanner so that it saves the scan as a .jpg file?
Right now, it saves as a .bmp file and I have to waste time converting it so that I can get it down to an decent file size.

You might try scanning your stuff through Paintshop Pro or some other similar editing program. That's what I do with my scanner... just go File > Import > TWAIN > Acquire... and after scanning it dumps the raw image into the editor. Then you can save it in whatever format you want.

Just my two cents, anyway.
