well...my sister managed to download nimda a variant the other day and got it on both of our computers...i've since cleaned up her computer and there doesn't seem to be any unsuaul activity.
however on my computer, I have 100's of those .eml files, .nws files which "appear" when the worm hit...I've ran norton antivirus fullscans several times, highest settings with latest dats...nothing, I ran the nimda variant a and variant e removal tools...not infected. Yet, I was infected with nimda a, the removal tool "worked" but I still have all these files...
i ran online viruscanners...nothing
basically, I have 100's of these files sitting in folder all over various partitions
any ideas on what i can do? Also, some of the files I can't delete, I get some error about source disk...help : (
I have latest windows update, ran spybot and adaware with latest updates, latest dats...and everything says I'm not infected and all those .eml files aren't infected either, well great! I don't believe it though...it's not normal to have random e-mails in every folder on some partitions...
Thanks
