Help with V5 & KDF monitor

Hi, I have a little annoying problem(?) with the listed hadwares.

I'm currently running V5 5500 w/ KDF Avitron 19" monitor (one w/ Trinitron tube). I absolutely love both. However, when I run games that goes out of windows mode (I'm not sure how to describe it...) eg. Quake3, UT, etc..., the screen is all crunched up - even after I set the display configuration. I would have to manually reconfigure the screen w/ the controls on the monitor. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a *proper* way of doing this? When I ran Prophet DDR, all I had to do was put in the display setting, & it will automatically configure the monitor setting & so forth...

Any input would be appreciated. Also, please hold remarks such as 'get a GTS' & etc... 🙂 I'm very happy w/ my V5. It has much better 2D then GF cards I've ran & it's not that slower, imo. Thanks guys.

I'm running them with:

PIII700@933
MSI 815E Pro
128mb Mushkin Hi Perf Rev 1.5
V5 5500 AGP
SB Live x-gamer
modem, nic, etc...
w/ WinME

yyou have to set the screen stuff for every resolution on most monitors since each refresh rate/resolution combination is a different setting, after that it should save it .
