help with UV cables and UV CC

Okay, Im in the middle of modding my case, I just got a side window for it, 2 blue led fans, a blue kingwin thunder cc light, now I want to get some blue UV ide, floppy, and sata cables...

now is there some kind of Blue UC Cold Cathode? Or is it just that one color, and if I put the UV light behind all my cables, how much would it affect the overall color inside my case? The side window has a blue tint on it also..

thanks

The UV CC won't give out much light that you'll see. If anything, you'll see a slight purple, but not much. The cables will glow, but not too much that they'll light up a lot around them. Mostly you'll just see them as you normally would when light is shining on it, just that everything not UV reactive will be dark - it's the contrast that's great with UV stuff.

Yea like the sun, if you stare at it long enough you'll have problems 🙂

Get a couple 4" UV cold cathode tubes and position them strategically inside the case. One toward the bottom and one toward the top, or at the front/back of the case. It looks best if you can't see the tubs, but allow them to shine on the UV sensitive wires.

One of the best looks, in my opinion, are UV sensitive fan grills. They rock in a case. Also, consider replacing all the molex connectors on your PSU with UV sensitive ones. Get something that contrasts the motherboard nicely.

I think you aren't really understanding UV.
A UV light is otherwise known as a blacklight.
It isn't bright like a normal light, but flourescent colors react to it making them glow.

Look at the pics I posted in this thread. link

The fans have UV leds and uv reactive blades and housings. Wire sleeving is reactive along with the power supply housing and IDE cables. Some of the pci slot covers have been painted with flourescent paint.
