I have just purchased a USB Bluetooth Adapter and have been supplied with a CD-ROM with the necessary drivers on.
I'm running Win2k and, when trying to load the software I receive an error message as follows:
"Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could be indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package".
I have cleaned the CD-ROM and tried loading the software on both of my home PCs with similar results. I have also visited the WIDCOMM website in the hope of finding drivers for download to no avail. I have also visited the Microsoft site to see if any drivers are available, but those present appear to be for WinXP only.
The product I am attempting to install has a Model Number MBD-C2.1 with a Serial Number MBD 0008873.
Does anyone have a working copy of the USB Driver available or any other suggestions?
Here's hoping. Thanks.
Peter
