Help with unlocking AthlonXP.....

I have tried at least 10 times already. I connect the L1 bridges and nothing happened. The best I could get out of it was that I was able to select 7X and 11X. By the way, it's a AthlonXP 1700+ (11 x 133).
I have done the MOD once before and it worked on another AthlonXP.
But this one, it's just really strange. I noticed that the dots are not perfectly solid dot, but rather ones with circle in them.
I don't know what the problem is. But I just couldn't get this one to work.
Any idea?
 
What method did you use? What kind of gap filler, conductive paint, etc. Did you try cleaning the contacts? I've heard that helps to make a good connection. I've also got an XP 1700+ and I'm going to try unlocking it in about 2 hours when I get home from work. I'll post my success or failure tomorrow.

Anyone else have ideas?
