I have the 1600U and I cant a successful scanner link. I was able to get it to work on my laptop so I know the scanner isnt dead, but I have tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them, still no go. Is there such thing as a generic twain driver?
So far I ahve tried the following:
Unistall off the add remove program
manual uninstall of twain dll's and folders
removing scanner from device manager
updating the drivers for the scanner under device manager
used 3 different versions of the twain driver
Any help would be great
