help with transparency in winXP.

isnt transparency built into XP? or is this some other third party program?

i've updated my windows now.
check it out

even on 1ghz, 512mb ram, n 64mb vid card, everything slows down dramatically if i have even 4 windows on top of another

would 1GB of ram help? or is this all video card? perhaps a 128mb works better?
