I have this computer I built a little over a year ago and I am always logged in under administrator. I have no other users set up on my computer. Well I just installed Quickbooks Premier Edition and this is the error I receive when trying to run it: "Windows XP and Windows 2000 users must have Power Users or Administrator group rights in order to run QuickBooks. Please contact your system administrator about being granted those rights." This is the first time I have ever seen this error before. I double checked to make sure I am logged in under administrator. Can someone describe what a "Power User" is or what "Administrator group rights" are

I am running XP Pro w/SP2............any ideas?

With no other users on your computer I am not sure why it is prompting with that error. However, if you go to your control panel, then to Admin tools, open Computer Management. Under System Tools, you will see Local users and groups. Expand this folder and open Groups. Here you will see Administrators, power users, etc and definitions for what they are. Hope this helps.

Quickbooks is evil :) Return it and get your money back, is my suggestion. Seriously.
