Help with T-Mobile Sim in AT&T unlocked Optimus G?

So a friend has a Samsung S3 and T-Mobile. He is interested in my unlocked Optimus G for his son. Took his SIM card and put it into the Optimus G. Configured T-Mobile APN settings. Data seems to work fine (albeit at 3G, not 4G or LTE). Make a voice call to another phone (both landline and cell) and it dials and connects, but no sound through Optimus earpiece nor sending sound out to other phone. If I put it on speakerphone it makes sound through speaker, but still no outbound voice to other phone. Put my AT&T SIM in and sound and voice work properly.

Is there something I missed to setting up (1st time to try non-AT&T sim card)?

Are all of the APN settings correct and is the phone completely restored?

The apn should be good as i compared to what t-mobile has on there website and as given by example on other places on the net. The phone has the last rom (beanstalk) iwas using witout any issues. Think it may be the rom?

Could be a bug or something. You could re flash it or try a new one.

It ended up being the radio version. Thanks for the assistance!
