help with stealth 3 s540 card

Ok I have a soyotek 6vba-133 motherboard with a 566 overclocked to 850 solid,256megs of pc133 ram,2 hardrives both 7200 rpm and a stealth 3 s540 videocard,cable modem
OK heres my problem when I play unreal tournament,quake...online only my computer freezes up,i was thinking maybe my videocard needed updated to a better card,I did try to update the drivers...but still freezes,do you think it is my card,settings...???thanks for any help

Here are a few suggestions. Maybe give them a try:

Which OS are you running? Make sure you have the latest DirectX and/or Service Pack first.

Then, make sure you have the latest video drivers available for your card.

Then, make sure you have the latest NIC card drivers for your network card.

Check the setting for Quake or UT for your networking (make sure it's not set for modem). Set it for LAN, or something like that.

If that doesn't work, try changing your NIC card to 10BaseT, and half-duplex. Try a few of these settings.

Then, you might have some stability issues with your high overclock... these are CPU intensive apps, so try at your base speed.
