I have a surround sound speaker system with subwoofer. I also use a Sb Live x-gamer sound card, i have the speakers hooked into the subwoofer right and everything but only 2 speakers play, i can plug up booth (Front and rear) but only 2 will play, help me if you can please, thanks.

You have to go into the speaker options of your soundcard and turn on the 4 speaker option.

Access this through the Control Panel.

I did that, went to sounds and multimedia then clicked advanced and put it to surround speakers and it still isn't using them all...

Try going into creatives SoundblasterHQ program to set the speakers. (SoundblasterHQ may have a slightly different name, it's been awhile. But the HQ part of it is correct.)

i can't seem to find the Sound blaster Headquarters thing, can i download it somewhere? i'm pretty sure this is what i need, if i can't d/l from anywhere can someone maybe send it to me if its not to big?

which speakers actually play?
the two front, or back two?

if the back two dont play it could be because you didnt put up the fade on your controls.

doublecheck and make sure the speaker wire is properly inserted.

Make sure you have tried hooking the connectors from yor system in "Digital out" and also "Front out" (analog) and "Rear out" (analog).

If that doesn't work, uninstall the drivers amd reinstall them from the installation CD.

Then, download the upgrade drivers from the soundblaster website and install them.
