help with sound card

Well its not possible to answer your question, cause i have no clue what you mean. Does your computer detect the card? Or does sound just not come out? What operating system are you running? What sound card is it? Who makes your computer and what model number is it (cause i assume u didnt build your own).
 
I assume that sound does not come out your speakers.
maybe you put the speakers connector to mic/line in or have the volume control down/muted
