Its orchestral and its pretty famous. Im sure you've all heard it. I get the mental image of entering a rich palace with mountains of gold everywhere, or the arrival of some King or Prince or something. It sounds like something that would come out of Conan the Barbarian except I already checked the soundtrack.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Not this song, but I guess something similar, but the song Im looking for sounds a lot more "grand".

nope sorry, nice try though. Just imagine a song you'd want playing if you were riding your horse/camel/elephant and arriving at your solid gold palace. I know my idea of a theme song is going to differ from everyone else's but thats all I can think of. Im pretty sure the song doesn't have too much oboe in it.

yeah I know, long long shot, sucks how orchestral music is hard to describe.

Its an old song, I keep thinking its gotta be the theme to Lawrence of Arabia or the King and I or something similar. Again probably not very helpful.

thats actually closer, tempo for the song Im looking for is a bit slower.
