Help with Social game

A buddy of mine is throwing a banging block party tomorrow and the GF and I are helping out with pig smoking, organization, and some of the planned games.

We need to think up some questions where we toss them in a hat, people select them, complete the questions, then re-select and go around and figure out who is who. It's a get to know the neighbors type of party--my pal is the neighborhood safety rep, so he has a legit need to get people together and discuss earthquake and other emergency issues.

Anyhoo, was wondering if ATOT could think up some random questions to help engage strangers in meaningful discussion.

"neighborhood safety rep"????

yeah. you basically call the local council member, whoever is responsible for these things, and request to be the neighborhood contact. Essentially, you're in charge of keeping track of people in a disaster (we live on the Hayward fault, so...), and letting people know about general safety, emergency issues. Also to simply let them know that "someone is looking into this stuff," I guess.

Doubt many people are aware of this in our area; hell, I was surprised when he mentioned it to me. He's training to be a firefighter, so he's all into this kind of stuff.
