Help with slooow framerates!

I have been experiencing really slow framerates in Nascar 2002 Season(we are talking single digits!). I have tried the following:

Hardware:

P4 1.7 ghz
512megs SDRAM
Visiontek GeForce3 Ti200
Intel mobo.

Turned off all eye candy, and reduced draw ahead and vehicles.
Went down to 800x600x16
Updated to 27.50 drivers
Disabled all running programs
Turned off anti-aliasing
Overclocked to 200/500
Latest chipset drivers and BIOS.

The above helped some(about 15-20%), but I still get single digits, especially when in heavy traffic. Any more ideas? I know this is an awfully demanding game, but I expect better than that from my Ti200.

Hmmm, shame you dont mention OS or motherboard chipset either (although you say you have SDRAM so I would guess i845).

Well, the only other major performance enhancing options available to you from the graphics drivers are to disable VSync and lower the Mip-Mapping/Filtering levels.

Sorry, forgot that. Running Windows XP Pro on i845 mobo. Have also tried disabling VSync, and played with the mapping levels a little, but I am not very knowledgeable about it.
