so I've been trying to sleeve my Seasonic platinum 860w for a couple of days now and holy mother of god this thing is just impossible. The sata and peripheral power cables were a cake walk but the rest are completely and utterly impossible to de-pin, I've been using your bog standard molex pin extractor (this one) but it's just not working.

does anyone have any helpful tips?

Haven't sleeved a PSU before but there should be metal slits that are bent outwards to hold the metal connector in place. You could get the metal connector out by bending the slits inwards which should allow you to slide the connector out effortlessly. Remember to bend it back outwards before reinstalling.

It is definitely doable with bent staples or you could get better quality tools.
