Help with size of window.

Hi all,
For some reason recently when I open a window from a link it opens slightly smaller than maximized. I have tried dragging it to the full size but it just keeps happening when I open a new one. I seem to remember some setting where it gave me the option to "open everything in a maximized window" or something like that but I can't seem to find it now.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Btw I am running Win 98 SE.
Thanks
Gary

If you right click the shortcut and select properties, there will be a drop box next to the word "Run". Click the drop box and select maximized and your program will run maximized every time you open it.

Soccer now I feel like real idiot🙂 When I right click IE on my desktop and select properties I get the "Internet Options" menu...the same one you get to from the "Tools" drop down. I don't see a Run command or any option to select max or min??
What am I missing?

I think you're right clicking on the desktop icon that's originally placed by Windows (that's Microsofts dirty work). I deleted that one, and I did the right clicking on the IE shortcut on my QuickLaunch toolbar, and that's where I saw the Run option for the shortcut that Soccer55 is talking about.
