I just had to reinstall Windows NT on one of my computers, and the installation went fine. I am able to see everyone else on the network and access their files. They can also see me, but once they try and explore my computer, it asks them for a password. I entered my administration password, but it said wrong password. I spent hours on it, and so I went and picked up a copy of Win2k, thinking this would solve the problem and be much better in the long. After I installed, the same thing happened. When someone trys to browse my computer, they are asked for a password. I gone through the help files and the books of both OSs and can't figure it out. I would appreciate any help.

Any users that you have trying to log into the server must be using a Username and password that is on the server.

IOW

Windows 98 log on -Client for MS Networks
Username = Bubba
Password = rednek

Windows NT/W2K must have the same username and Passwords built in to the system
