Help with setting up windows server 2012 R2 as media steaming

Hi, all helpers.
can some1 help me?
Ive just installed windows server 2012 r2 datacenter on my old pc with 2 hdd's, 1 for movies and 1 for my music that i'd like to steam them all over my home network to all my devices but not sure as to what to do next in order to achieve this. e.g. dlna, dhcp and create a domain if i need to as at the moment, network is all link by homegroup.
Any info. would be much grateful.

I personally use a standard workgroup with Server 2008. Allshare is installed for the Samsung TV/Blu-ray and ES File explorer is on the phones/tablets. Works for us.

A lot of people like Kodi, and there are a lot of other others. Might want to play with a few and see what you like the best.
