I'm trying to connect my Xbox to one of my pc's, so that I can access media center.
The problem is that I use Ooma for my home phone. In order to get decent quality VOIP, I have to let the Ooma handle QOS and serve as the DHCP host. Because Ooma's networking options are extremely limited, I've had to set up my network like this:
Verizon wireless router model GT1704WGB (hosting Xbox in DMZ) --> Ooma (NAT + DHCP)-->Netgear Wireless router (acting as a hub) -->computers.
This setup puts the Xbox and Computers on two different networks, so they can't see each other and I really don't know how to go about bridging them (Can't turn off NAT or DHCP on Ooma). I tried putting the Xbox on the Netgear network, but Xbox Live won't work due to the Ooma's inflexible NAT set up.
The Verizon router has an option for QOS, but I can't figure out how to set it up and I can't find any instructions on it (Verizon tech was no help).
The router has two QOS screens. One for Upstream and one for Downstream.
Both screens look like this:
Any suggestions on how to get the Xbox & PC working together would be greatly appreciated.
