Help with SetiQ and CLI Win client

Well I have the new beta of SetiQ and it's AWESOME! Got 6 PCs already assimilated 🙂

I'm trying to assimilate a 7th but the CLI is telling me can't create network socket. Its on the same LAN, IP of SetiQ server is 10.0.0.25 and this machine is 10.0.0.29. It's the only Win95 box I've tried to connect to it though. It was missing ws2_32.dll and ws2help.dll I found it when it told me that when I tried to run the CLI. I looked in all the cabs on the Win95 CD I had for it and could not locate it, so I copied the files from my Win98SE box over to it. At this point I assume that is the problem.

What are these two dll's? Why couldn't I find then in the winXX.cab or precopyX.cab files?
 
the sound like the winsock files. Can you ping any other amchines on the network? I would try and reinstall the network on your win95 machine. Sounds like there is no tcp/ip communication or maybe the TCP/IP stack is hosed up some how.
 
Those the winsock2 upgrade needed to run the CLI on a win95 box. There are limks to the microsoft d/l someplace on the team FAQ's (I think).
 
I assume it Win95 Release 1 then, those files are the Winsock2 files, you will have to download the dialup networking update for windows 95 from there site and update it, or put IE5 on the machine (that should do it as well)

Ben... I have a regular P200MMX that was doing 3.0 (linux) in around 26-28 hrs/WU. Since I expect that to double, it's gonna become a cracker... 😉 The "doubling" hits the original Pentiums and the PIIs (anything without that core speed cache).

I at one time had a dual PPro 200/512K w/3.0 linux doing 1 every 20-22 hrs/proc. Because of that core-speed cache, the time on yours probably won't double but might hit maybe 30-35hrs/WU...? 🙁

Yep I love the new Q too 🙂 ,I'll switch when the result log is sorted out though (hopefully in beta2)
