I'm selling a laptop on Ebay and someone asks me if I'm willing to ship to Taiwan.

What all would be involved for me in terms of payment, and shipping... Is there anything I should be sure to do? Or should I even bother with it....

Usually these sort of things are scams, they ask that you send it as soon as possible becuase they want it for a birthday present or something, I don't reccomend it.

What's the payment method? Make sure to tell him that all checks must clear before you ship, and that he is responsible for all import duties into his country. He will probably want to pay through Bidpay, which is OK because a lot of international buyers pay through Bidpay legitamately, just make sure it clears first.

There's nothing inherently wrong with shipping to another country; just make sure you have your wits about you and make sure payments clear before shipping.

Taiwan doesn't do Nigeria scandals.

Just don't do it because its a hassle. Sure it may be legit, but I had one hell of a time shipping to Canada even. so I would say no to save myself the trouble.

Thanks for the feedback! Pretty sure its a scammer like you said, since he has 0 feedback and asked it right away after posting the auction.
