Hi, I want to buy a scanner. I don't know which scanner I want to buy because there are so many brands. I know the hp and epson have many good scanners. Can somebody tell me which scanner is good? My budget is around $150.
How about Canon CanoScan series? Are they good? I like them because they are very slim compared to other scanners.
What is the difference between flatbed and sheetfed?
 
you can do alittle reading of reviews at places like www.pcworld and pcmag, amoung others. These places generally do alot of reviews. Scanners come in a wide range of bugets. What you should purchase depends on what you want to use your scanner for. If your the average person just scanning a few pictures and documents, almost any 36bit or higher scanner should be fine.
